This class is for intermediate fencers ages eight to adult and is designed to develop the technical and physical skills necessary to succeed to be a future competitive fencer.

Fencers must have their own uniform consisting of a mask, glove, jacket, plastron, knickers and socks.  Fencers also need to bring their own electric equipment: lame, body cord and electric weapon for electric bouting. (Foil or Epee equipment rental is available per request during class and open fencing for a fee of $40 per session.)  Class time includes bouting with pre-competitive or competitive fencers.  Each participant must have a non-competitive or competitive membership with USA Fencing.  Students may sign up online at www.usfencing.org or the instructors will help with sign-ups on the first day of class. Please register one week prior to the start date of each session.

*Summerlin Fencing Club reserves the right to hold open fencing for those competing in or training for local or national events.  Please contact class instructor for more information.
